CREATIVE DIRECTION
Inspired by the centuries-old craft of Bidriware, the design direction blended heritage and contemporary minimalism, allowing intricate metal inlay patterns to stand as the central visual language.
DESIGN TECHNIQUES USED
Clean typography, generous white space, and high-contrast layouts were employed to highlight the craft’s detail while creating a modern reading flow.
VISUAL PHILOSOPHY
Each spread was designed as a balance of artifact and atmosphere, pairing photography with restrained design elements to honor tradition while making it accessible to new audiences.
MATERIAL & FINISH
Heavy matte stock with metallic foil accents was chosen to echo the tactility of the craft itself, turning the book into both a record and an object of design.
